Introducing Fiore Boutique
Fiore Boutiqe is a small family owned business located in Aptos, CA (the California Central Coast). All skincare products are made with high-quality cold pressed oils and therapeutic essential oils and botanicals. Fiore B products do not contain any harmful additives and are made and packaged locally in Santa Cruz County.
Fiore Boutique began as an “official” company in 2017. However, Sophia (Susan ) Moranda had been fascinated by creating skincare potions even as a child, having watched her mom whip up salves and tonics after her kids’ encounters with the sun, insects, poison ivy, etc. Some of her mom’s therapeutic arsenal included baking soda, yogurt, aloe vera, and witch hazel.
As a mom of three, Sophia, as well as some of her kids have personally struggled with cystic acne and skin rashes. These issues began a quest to create skin-friendly body products for her family. Sophia’s lotion-making journey began by taking basic soap and lotion formulation classes, and voraciously reading about both ancient and modern skincare ingredients. In 2021, she enrolled in Formula Botanica (an international skincare formulation institute) and completed a certificate in organic skin care formulation.
Flash-forward to 2023, and what began as a hobby of necessity became not only a business that has expanded from the flagship lotion, cream, and butter products to facial care products and select cosmetics. Fiore B is so passionate about formulating and creating custom-made products, they’ve started teaching lotion-making courses to empower others to formulate their own skincare creations for fun or profit.
